Vincent Sferrazza

Working primarily with the figure and space throughout the years. Basically self taught  it continues to be a learning process.

Started drawing in 1979 then painting in 1983. Attended countless open life drawing sessions in Boston and Cambridge Massachusetts.     

 

Gradually began working more so from the imagination in 2003, less concerned with an established method but more so guided by emotion and intuition.  Staying open to chance in allowing the process to  invite the unexpected .

Sitting with each stage, deciding when I should leave the piece alone, my nemesis.

 

The trial & error, on/off application becomes an 

inner rollercoaster at times, eventually feeling more like a diary as I go along. 

 

Hoping 2024 is the beginning of some new work Paintings and Drawings, also to finally update my website(all long overdue).
